Job Description:
SAI Apteka Pharmacy in Brooklyn is seeking a dedicated and bilingual (Spanish/English) full time Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in assisting the pharmacist with medication preparation and dispensing, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries, processing transactions, and resolving concerns professionally.
• Maintain inventory control by managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring the availability of medications.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and pharmacy documentation in accordance with best practices.
• Efficiently handle insurance claims processing and resolve reimbursement issues as needed.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a pharmacy technician training program preferred.
• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in pharmacy management software and technology.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Solid understanding of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices.
