As a/an FINANCIAL DATA SPECIALIST, you will: represent business users and collaborate with developers on a variety of data initiatives including those with reference and market data.
Elicit and document functional and non-functional data requirements using various techniques such as interviews, observation, requirements, workshops and surveys.Understand how to conduct thorough data analysis; has a detailed understanding of high priority business requirements and corresponding business cases; and has the ability to deliver such artifacts.Serve as the data set or IT product liaison with OFR teams by identifying and writing user requirements, defining and refining performance objectives, metrics, data sources and analytics.Help Help

Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.Specialized experience For the OR-53 (GS-13 Equivalent), you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the OR-52 (GS-12 Equivalent), grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
-Experience analyzing data from financial institutions and/or regulatory bodies on financial products, such as: derivatives, insurance products, securities, housing, hedge funds, money market funds, commodities, governance, banking, debt, credit, mutual funds, repurchase agreements, ratings, stocks, or options;AND
-Experience with two or more of the following: Python, Collibra, Tableau, or S3 to manage date and/or to conduct data analysis of large data files and databases; AND-Utilizing project management principles and practices while maintaining partnerships in order to balance assignments and meet deadlines; AND
-Conducting analysis on a variety of financial data initiatives such as those with banking, business, investment, economic, or other types of financial market data; AND
-Experience automating processes or developing data solutions, programs, or analytics for business end-users.
