Quality Coordinator

Quality AssistantProvides operational support to the Quality Department and assists with the coordination of quality management, performance improvement, regulatory compliance, and audit-readiness activities throughout Central City Health. The position maintains quality-related records and documentation, coordinates meetings and departmental activities, assists with data collection and report preparation, and supports the timely completion and follow-up of Quality Department initiatives. The Quality Assistant works collaboratively with Quality Department staff, leadership, and other departments to support efficient departmental operations and organizational quality objectives.1. Provides administrative and operational support to the Quality Director and Quality Department in the coordination of departmental activities, projects, meetings, and deadlines.2. Maintains organized electronic and/or paper files for quality management, performance improvement, regulatory compliance, audits, site visits, committee activities, and other Quality Department records.3. Coordinates Quality Department meetings, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and supporting materials, recording and distributing meeting minutes, and tracking assigned follow-up items.4. Maintains departmental calendars and assists with monitoring deadlines for audits, reports, regulatory submissions, meetings, quality initiatives, and other required activities.5. Assists Quality Department staff with collecting, compiling, organizing, and entering data used for quality reports, performance improvement activities, audits, presentations, and regulatory submissions.6. Assists with the preparation, formatting, proofreading, and distribution of reports, presentations, correspondence, spreadsheets, meeting materials, and other Quality Department documents.7. Supports internal and external audit and site-visit preparation documentation, maintaining audit files, coordinating materials, and assisting with document retrieval.8. Maintains logs, trackers, spreadsheets, and other monitoring tools used by the Quality Department to track departmental activities.9. Assists with tracking corrective action plans, quality improvement activities, and other departmental follow-up items and provides status updates to the Quality Director.10. Receives and routes Quality Department requests, correspondence, reports, and documentation to the appropriate staff member and assists with obtaining requested information from departments as directed.11. Assists with maintaining current Quality Department policies, procedures, forms, templates, committee records, and other controlled departmental documents.12. Provides administrative support for Quality Department committees and workgroups, including maintaining membership lists, meeting schedules, attendance records, minutes, and supporting documentation.13. Assists with coordinating communications and requests between the Quality Department and clinical, behavioral health, dental, housing, administrative, and other organizational departments.14. Assists with monitoring the receipt of required reports, documents, and information from departments and follows up on outstanding items as directed.15. Maintains confidentiality of patient, employee, quality, and organizational information in accordance with HIPAA, organizational policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.16. Participates in departmental meetings, training, and other activities necessary to maintain knowledge of Quality Department processes and responsibilities.17. Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Associate degree in business administration, healthcare administration or a related field preferred. Relevant administrative experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.2 years of experience working in a Quality Department preferred.Experience working in a FQHC preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.Experience maintaining electronic records, spreadsheets, databases, tracking systems.Strong organizational skills with demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to manage multiple assignments, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to prepare professional correspondence, reports, meeting minutes, etc.Ability to work cooperatively and professionally with leadership and other stakeholders.Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.Ability and flexibility to adapt to changing departmental and organizational priorities.Pay: Up to $27.00 per hourBenefits:Dental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offVision insurancePeople with a criminal record are encouraged to apply.Education:Associate (Required)Work Location: In person
