Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during exams, providing clear and compassionate explanations for each procedure
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and uphold patient records in our electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
