Position Summary

We are seeking an entry-level Electro-Hydraulic Technician I to test, troubleshoot, assemble, and inspect mechanical, electrical, electronic, and hydraulic equipment. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates and early-career technicians to develop hands-on technical skills in a workshop/manufacturing environment.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electro-Mechanical Technology, Mechatronics, Electronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field; or completion of a trade/technical school program with an electrical, electronics, hydraulic, mechanical, or industrial-maintenance focus.
• Foundational electrical knowledge, including voltage, current, resistance, insulation, series/parallel circuits, and use of an ohmmeter.
• Basic networking knowledge, including OSI/TCP-IP models, IP and MAC addresses, switches, routers, hubs, modems, LAN/WAN, DHCP, and subnetting.
• Ability to read and understand electrical, electronic, or hydraulic schematics, including symbols, legends, and component designations.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude through school, work, hobbies, automotive repair, construction, woodworking, or electrical projects.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office, iPads, and digital applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare tools, materials, equipment, drawings, and procedures before work begins.
• Test, troubleshoot, assemble, and inspect assigned assemblies independently or as part of a team.
• Follow test procedures, service orders, technical instructions, and established work processes.
• Accurately record test results, inspection findings, failures, rework, and required quality documentation.
• Resolve routine issues and escalate complex problems to engineers or supervisors.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workshop environment.
• Interact professionally with engineers, internal teams, and occasional customers.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, hands-on, eager to learn, and interested in building a career in electro-hydraulic equipment or industrial technology.

Candidates will complete practical assessments covering Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, basic electrical and schematic knowledge, mechanical aptitude and tool use, networking fundamentals, and iPad navigation/data entry.
