Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

As a contract school psychologist, you will collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to advocate for students and contribute to the development of effective educational strategies and interventions.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in North Carolina
• Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
• Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and intervention techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of federal and state special education regulations

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment results
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Participate in multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and special education eligibility meetings
• Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student learning and wellbeing
• Assist in designing behavioral interventions and progress monitoring
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school policies and regulatory requirements
