Job Description
MRI Aide

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

11:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Monday - Friday (8-hour nights), 40 hours per week.

Job Description

The MRI Aide will provide assistance in the Radiology Department, specifically within the MRI division. The candidate will work closely with MRI Technologists and will not be required to work solo. After midnight, the department will be covered by call duty.

Responsibilities

• Assist MRI Technologists in performing MRI procedures.
• Help ensure a smooth workflow within the department, accommodating approximately 9 patients per shift.
• Work collaboratively with other staff, including MRI Technologists and other Aides.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of current MRI experience required.
• Experience with GE MRI equipment (HDXT 16.0 and 23.0) required.
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred.
• Must be willing to work weekends and evenings, and take call as needed.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Must have a personal vehicle and include permanent address in traveler profile.
• Any requested time off must be included in the profile upon upload.
