About the Position

Job Title: Travel RN - Telemetry Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital telemetry experience License: RN License Certifications: BLS & ACLS required Must-Have: - Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital telemetry experience - BLS & ACLS certifications Description: Travel RN position available in a telemetry unit. The unit has 37 beds and a team of 12 staff members. Day shift consists of 8 RNs, 3 Patient Care Techs, and 1 Unit Clerk. Night shift has a similar team structure. Patient ratios are 1:6, with 1:4 for heart catheter patients, estimated but never guaranteed. Typical equipment used includes PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tubes. The electronic medical record system in use is Meditech. The typical procedures performed include central lines, medication drips, heart catheter recovery, and bubble studies. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate a positive attitude and are engaged in their work. Independent and strong critical thinking skills are essential. Candidates will be prioritized based on their skills and experience.
