About the Position

Job Title: RN - Telemetry Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital telemetry experience - Strong critical thinking skills - Positive attitude and engagement Description: Travel RN position available in a telemetry unit. The unit has a total of 29 beds with a staff of 8. The day shift consists of 5 RNs and 3 Patient Care Techs. The night shift also has 5 RNs and 3 Patient Care Techs. Patient ratios are estimated at 1:6, but not guaranteed. Typical equipment in use includes PCA pumps and IV pumps. The electronic medical record system utilized is Meditech. Experience with NIH and Meditech is preferred. Central lines and medication drips are common procedures performed on this unit. Patient care experience is a priority for this role. Candidates with the required skill set will be prioritized during the selection process.
