Emergency Room Nurse - Nights
This position offers flexibility as it requires covering either Med/Surg or ER, depending on the department's needs. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in emergency care and the ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Room.
- Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and respect all staff members.
- Effectively communicate with patients and families, providing education and support.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Emergency Room Nurse.
- Current licensure in good standing in the state of California.
- Mandatory certifications: ACLS, PALS, and CPR. TNCC must be acquired within one year of hire.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Team player with accountability for work output.
Schedule
This is a night shift position requiring flexibility to cover both Med/Surg and ER as needed.
