Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2010 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 10 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Any Contract Type at Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Mixed med-surg/PCU unit with transitional beds. Med-surg procedures include Foleys, PICC, IV, IV antibiotics, chest tubes, bedside paracentesis, PD, LP, etc. Cares for patients with general medicine issues, opioid abuse, organ failure, change in LOC, behavior issues, and MRDD/delay issues.

Shift & Scheduling: Schedule: weekdays and some weekends. Rotating between day 07:00-19:00 and night 19:30-7:30 shifts.

Floating Requirements: Float to lower acuity units and different units within the OSU organization as needed.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.

14 days maximum time off. Start assignment restriction: 7 days
