Stockroom Clerk

Under the supervision of the Contracts & Purchasing Manager, this position performs a variety of tasks related to the receiving, storing, distribution, and inventory control of materials and equipment parts. Responsibilities include fulfilling parts requests, conducting physical counts, maintaining accurate records in the inventory management system, and supporting the overall operations of the stockroom. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Receives materials, verifies documentation against purchase orders, applies applicable barcodes, and records items into the inventory management system. Distributes materials to Road Department employees upon request and ensures inventory records are updated timely and accordingly. Maintains accurate inventory levels through routine physical counts and updates in the electronic inventory system. Posts disbursed items to perpetual inventory tickets.
