Physician Assistant – OBGYN, Bariatric Surgery Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is hiring a Physician Assistant specializing in Bariatric Surgery for NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. The position is based in Harlem, New York, in a 268‑bed academic hospital that provides a full spectrum of medical and surgical services, including obstetrics and gynecology, bariatric surgery, and a Level III NICU. Job Details Location: Harlem, New York, NY Position Type: Regular Full‑Time Salary Range: $127,308 – $169,744 per year Job Shift: 1 Job Category: Physician Assistant Responsibilities Outpatient prenatal, well‑woman and perioperative visits. Evaluating patients presenting with L&D triage. Assisting in the operating room with OBGYN cases. Manage over 600 deliveries per year. Outpatient practice 5 days per week. Admit patients to Level 3 NICU as needed. Qualifications Current NYS registration as a Physician Assistant. Current certification/admissibility issued by the NCCPA. BLS certification. Infection control certification. Proven ability to work in a team environment and to interact with patients and families in a manner that instills confidence and facilitates communication. Wages and Benefits Include Annual base salary: $127,308 – $169,744 (based on years of experience). Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours per week: $44,200. 401(k) company contribution: Immediately vested 3% of base earnings (no employee match required). After one year of service, additional 7% of base earnings (no employee match required). Annual continuing medical education (CME) reimbursement.
