Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Key West, Florida.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Labor and Delivery\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 10/05/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs\n Hours: 36 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 5, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery/LDRP night shift position requiring L&D, postpartum, nursery, and Mother/Baby experience.Details\n \n Labor and Delivery unit providing antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal obstetrical care\n Night shift schedule (7p-7a)\n 13-week assignment\n Flexible floating to other units as facility needs require\n Requirements\n \n Active FL or compact RN license\n BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required\n PALS required, may be obtained within 30 days of start\n AWHONN certification preferred, can be completed onsite\n Minimum 2 years of recent L&D, postpartum, nursery, and Mother/Baby experience\n AHCA certification required for FL placement\n No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment\n No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months\n Additional Information\n \n Provide shift accountability for safe delivery of obstetrical patient care using the nursing process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy\n Demonstrate critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering care\n Delegate and supervise care provided by assigned personnel based on staff education and experience\n Must secure housing within 50 miles of the facility prior to acceptance and provide the address\n Local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered\n Not eligible if previously employed as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years\n RTO requests must be less than one week\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-754963.
