Travel RN - LDRPThis is a 13-week contract position.Nights (7 PM - 7 AM)The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care to Labor and Delivery patients. The RN utilizes the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures. Critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership are essential in the anticipation and planning for the safe delivery of care.Provide care to Labor and Delivery patients during their hospital stay.Utilize critical thinking and scientific judgment in patient care delivery.Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.Minimum 2 years of prior travel experience in L&D, postpartum, nursery, or Mother/Baby units.ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required.PALS certification required within 30 days of start if not previously obtained.AWHONN certification preferred, can be completed onsite.Must possess a valid state RN license.At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
