Job Description This Construction Project Manager position will be responsible for the construction of projects, from award to completion, and paid in full. At times, the Construction Project Manager may also be involved during the bid process. The Construction Project Manager is the main point of contact for the Client and maintains regular communication with their representative. Many of the tasks are described below but are not limited to the following. Review Heavy Bid files Schedule handoff meetings between estimating and field superintendents Understand Contracts and Project Specs Prepare and Maintain a Detailed Project Schedule and Update Weekly Administer, monitor, and maintain CMIC subcontracts, PO’s, invoices, and procurement Create, maintain, and process change orders in a timely manner, for all changes in the work Prepare spreadsheets Maintain utility locates It requires time in the field and exposure to all weather elements. Conduct on-site safety inspections weekly to ensure the site meets federal and state standards for safety Monitor daily time Analyze daily productions Job Requirements for Construction Project Manager 5+ years of Construction Project Manager experience. Project Management, Construction Management or related degree (Preferred) Knowledge of construction materials and equipment, as they relate to infrastructure and highway construction (mass grading, utility and stormwater construction, concrete curbs/sidewalks, and asphalt paving) This position offers completive salary paid weekly and will be based on experience. A company vehicle will be provided. General Requirements Qualified applicants must have a valid U.S. Driver's License and a clean driving record. This is a full-time day position with some weekend and night work necessary. Able to work in a safe manner, follow OSHA guidelines, and keep the work area clean. Reliable attendance. Must have a positive attitude and willingness to work in a team environment. Possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
