Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee complex residential remodeling jobs from inception to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage multidisciplinary teams, coordinate construction schedules, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, extensive experience with project scheduling tools, and a passion for driving project success through effective leadership and meticulous planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Develop detailed project schedules using BuilderTrend or similar construction management software, coordinating all phases from design schematics to final delivery.
• Manage project budgets by monitoring costs, forecasting expenditures, and implementing cost control measures utilizing BuilderTrend or comparable estimating tools.
• Oversee site operations, ensuring compliance with construction regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, engineers, and internal teams to facilitate seamless communication and project progression.
• Read blueprints and schematics accurately to guide construction activities and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Utilize tools like BuilderTrend and other construction management software to track progress, document changes, and maintain comprehensive project records.
• Supervise teams on-site and manage subcontractors to ensure work quality aligns with project specifications.
• Conduct regular project meetings to review schedules, address challenges, and update stakeholders on progress.
• Ensure all construction activities meet regulatory compliance standards while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency.

Experience

• Proven experience managing large-scale residential remodeling jobs with a strong emphasis on project scheduling and cost management.
• Extensive knowledge of construction estimating processes using BuilderTrend or similar tools.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Proficiency with BuilderTrend for detailed project scheduling; experience with Schematics is a plus.
• Strong understanding of construction regulatory compliance requirements across various jurisdictions.
• Hands-on experience reading blueprints, schematics, contracts, and managing construction budgets.
• Excellent time management skills coupled with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently in a demanding setting.
• Previous site experience in residential remodeling projects is highly desirable.
