Project Administrator

Project Administrator | Commercial Construction Houston, TX | Commercial General Contractor $55,000 to $70,000 base salary + benefits Blayze Group is partnering with a growing commercial general contractor to appoint a Project Administrator to support project and accounting teams across commercial construction projects. This role is ideal for someone with around 5 years of construction administration experience who is organized, tech savvy, accurate with data entry, and comfortable supporting both project documentation and accounting administration. The Role Support Project Managers with project setup, purchase orders, subcontracts, addenda, and project documentation Assist with AP, AR, invoices, pay applications, AIA billing support, and project cost records Maintain accurate data entry across QuickBooks, spreadsheets, project files, vendor records, and internal systems Help track subcontractor documentation, W-9s, insurance certificates, compliance paperwork, and project records Support banking administration, credit card checks, receipts, reconciliations, and related accounting documentation Assist with permits, utilities, closeout documents, warranties, lien releases, and project files Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, clients, Project Managers, and Superintendents to keep information moving Support general office management tasks including filing, scanning, document control, calendars, supplies, and day to day office coordination What We’re Looking For Around 5 years’ experience in construction administration, project coordination, accounting admin, or office management Must have worked in construction, ideally with a GC, subcontractor, or commercial construction business QuickBooks experience is important AP, AR, AIA billing, invoices, banking, credit card reconciliation, or job cost support experience would be valuable Strong data entry skills and confidence working with spreadsheets and systems Tech savvy, organized, detail focused, and comfortable learning new software Someone reliable, proactive, and able to support a small construction team without needing constant direction This is a strong opportunity to join a growing commercial contractor where you can become a key part of the project administration function and support the business as it continues to grow. #J-18808-Ljbffr Blayze Group
