Customer Service Manager

The Customer Service Manager is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely and damage-free delivery of products to customers. They lead team members to ensure the warehouse is clean, neat and organized, and that warehouse tasks are done effectively. This role is a working lead and is expected to also perform warehousing and delivery responsibilities as needed. Warehousing tasks include: Unloading trucks Receiving material Put-away of material Picking customer orders Staging customer orders for delivery Loading customer delivery trucks Non-CDL Drivers at Famous Supply make deliveries to customer shops and/or job sites using a 26-foot box truck with a lift gate. Each morning, the driver’s route for the day is uploaded onto a company-provided Smartphone that navigates the driver to each stop. Drivers are responsible for assisting with the loading of their truck and reviewing orders prior to delivery to ensure accuracy. Driver associates assist in the warehouse when needed. Famous Supply Drivers will handle large products such as water heaters, furnaces, and showers. Primary Job Responsibilities Warehouse Ensuring product is handled with care to prevent damage Attention to detail to ensure warehouse tasks listed above are done accurately Maintaining accurate inventory counts Keeping warehouse clean, neat and organized Driver Help load truck Use Smartphone to navigate to stops on time Unload materials for customer Verify delivery for accuracy Provide friendly and helpful customer service Pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections Required Experience and Skills Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
