Mail Services Associate

Position Summary:

The Mail Services Associate is responsible for supporting daily mailroom operations, including the receipt, distribution, and processing of mail and packages. This role ensures timely and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing correspondence, maintains supply inventories, and provides reliable service to internal departments.

Responsibilities:

• Receive inbound FedEx, USP, DHL, scan into tracking system.
• Deliver and obtain signatures.
• Verify accuracy of all scans and deliveries.
• Collect outbound packages and prepare according to set guidelines releasing packages to Fed Ex and couriers.
• Provide excellent customer service, accurately track packages, and respond to customers via email.
• Prepare outbound branch mail through courier and FedEx.
• Run Pitney Bowes meter machine.
• Must be computer literate, detail oriented

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior mailroom, shipping, or courier experience (FedEx/UPS preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to operate mail carts, hand carts, and flatbeds.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
