About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to play a pivotal role in the organization's growth and impact. The COO will be responsible for the integration, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of the company's operations, with a focus on connecting program realities to organizational strategy. This senior leadership position demands a candidate with significant experience in a complex, multi-site, regulated direct service organization, such as those in the fields of disability services, behavioral health, healthcare, human services, or education. The successful COO will be a proven enterprise operator and people leader, capable of strengthening the organization's leadership capacity, operational discipline, and cross-functional alignment. Key responsibilities include leading enterprise operations, people leadership, financial stewardship, and maintaining quality, risk, and regulatory standards. Applicants for the COO role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree or relevant professional credentials preferred) and a track record of success in developing leaders, managing performance, and creating a culture of accountability. The role requires a leader with strong business and financial acumen, exceptional judgment, and the ability to navigate complex, multi-faceted operational challenges. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar mission-driven environment and be adept at balancing near-term operational demands with long-term organizational development.
