About the Role:
Locke Building is looking for an experienced Project Manager with extensive experience in excavation and leading ground-up projects. The job will include assisting in bidding excavation projects, creating excavation plans, managing employees and subcontractors, and overseeing the project.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of excavation and site preparation projects
• Manage subcontractors, equipment operators, and on-site crews to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and progress reports, adjusting schedules as needed
• Conduct site visits and inspections to maintain quality control
• Coordinate equipment logistics, material procurement, and site grading activities

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience actually running equipment
• Strong knowledge of earthwork and site development 
• Proven ability to manage crews effectively
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, site plans, and soil reports
• Valid driver's license, ability to travel to job sites
• Strong communication and leadership skills with a team-first attitude
• Willing to work long hours when needed
