This position will be hybrid.The Treasury department at Albemarle helps maximize shareholder value by delivering the financing, liquidity, and risk management solutions that support the Company’s global operations The Treasury Analyst is responsible for a broad range of Treasury activities, including liquidity management, treasury operations, foreign exchange risk management, with opportunities to be involved in Capital Markets and Insurance. The role will interact with a variety of functional areas, including Controlling, Tax, Legal, Audit, Business finance and our banking partners. The position offers significant exposure to our global business and visibility to senior management.Compliance:Adhere to Albemarle Policies and Procedures and follow the company Code of ConductResponsibilities:Support the execution and monitoring of foreign exchange risk management strategies, including cash flow, balance sheet, and net investment hedgingManage liquidity, cash forecasting, funding activities, investments, borrowing needs, and working capital optimizationSupport treasury operations, including payments, bank account management, treasury reporting, and banking activitiesPrepare Treasury inputs and reports to support month-end close and external reporting requirements, including covenant compliance and select disclosures supporting SEC filingsAdminister the Company's Commercial Paper program, including issuance, settlement, and reporting activitiesProvide analytical support through ad‑hoc financial modeling, scenario analysis, and special projects related to capital markets, risk management, and Treasury strategyDrive process improvement initiatives within Treasury, leveraging automation, data analytics, and AI to improve efficiency, controls, and decision‑makingSupport the Treasury Manager, Capital Markets in preparing executive-level analyses, reporting, and presentations for management, the Board of Directors, and rating agenciesBuild and maintain strong banking and cross-functional relationships to support business operations and critical treasury activitiesServe as a cross‑trained resource and backup across other Treasury responsibilities (Capital Markets, Operations, and Insurance) as needed, supporting continuity and knowledge sharingEducation and/or Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related fieldIt’d be great if you also hadThe successful candidate will be a highly motivated professional with the following attributes:0–2+ years of directly related experienceDemonstrated strong analytical capability, with the ability to think independently, synthesize complex information, and develop thoughtful, value‑adding recommendationsProven ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team while operating at a high level in a fast‑paced, dynamic environmentStrong work ethic and a clear aspiration to grow as a leader within the organizationExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly in both written and verbal formatsHigh level of intellectual curiosity, with the ability to balance strategies, big‑picture thinking and close attention to detailAbility to focus on critical priorities and exercise sound judgment in managing competing demandsGenuine interest in Corporate Finance/Treasury supported by a solid foundation in finance or accountingIntermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with experience extracting, analyzing, and manipulating data from ERP systemsRelevant experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: Corporate Treasury, Accounting, or financial analysis within Business OperationsDemonstrated ability to leverage automation, data analytics, and AI tools to improve efficiency, insight, and decision‑makingFamiliarity with Treasury and financial systems such as Kyriba, FXall, SAP, and BPC is a plusBenefits of joining Albemarle • Competitive compensation• Comprehensive benefits package• A diverse array of resources to support you professionally and personally.We are partners to one another in pioneering new ways to be better for ourselves, our teams, and our communities.
