41101 - Travel: Clinical Pharmacist I-DAYS

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team on a travel basis. The successful candidate will provide pharmacy services, monitor patient drug therapies, and ensure safe, effective medication management according to established protocols. This full-time position offers a dynamic environment with varied shift times, including mornings and evenings, with the potential for temp-to-perm employment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, dispense, and verify medication orders accurately according to physician requests.
• Interpret prescriptions, transcribe into electronic records, and maintain precise medication documentation.
• Compound and dispense pharmaceuticals, including non-sterile and sterile products, chemotherapy, and parenteral nutrition.
• Issue controlled substances while complying with all legal and institutional policies.
• Provide clinical interventions such as anticoagulation management, medication reconciliation, and patient education.
• Monitor drug therapies for contraindications and interactions, and report adverse reactions promptly.
• Maintain current pharmacist licensure and fulfill continuing education requirements.
• Supervise pharmacy support staff and coordinate daily pharmacy operations.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, antimicrobial stewardship, and medication safety activities.

Required Certifications and Licenses:

• Pharmacy state licensure required.
• BLS or ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification required for pediatric practice.

Education and Experience:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or BS Pharmacy degree required.
• Hospital experience preferred but not mandatory.

Work Schedule:

8-hour shifts with start and end times varying (e.g., 6:00am-2:30pm, 7:00am-3:30pm, 8:00am-4:30pm, 11:00am-7:00pm, 3:00pm-11:00pm).

Hourly Pay Rate:

$87.10
