Data Consolidation: Consolidate financial data to present a clear picture of performance, variances, and cost drivers. Performance Evaluation: Provide variance explanations and cost analysis to highlight opportunities for efficiency and improvement. Forecasting Accuracy: Strengthen organizational planning by producing reliable financial forecasts that support resource allocation. Talent Development: Coach and lead less‑experienced Financial Analysts, building team capability and future leadership. Strategic Contribution: Ensure financial insights and reporting directly support organizational goals and long‑term success. Education, Licenses, Certifications College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required. Progress toward Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant or similar certification preferred. Experience Intermediate level of relevant professional work experience in the field of study required. Lead Financial Planning & Reporting – Manage monthly close, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting activities for the Global Engineering and Product Strategy functions, providing accurate and timely financial insights. Support Strategic Decision-Making – Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support leadership discussions, business decisions, and the financial impact assessment of global engineering strategies. Partner with Cummins Drivetrain and Braking Systems Engineering Leadership – Serve as a trusted finance partner to the Engineering CMLT leader and leadership team, helping align financial performance with strategic objectives. Expand Product Finance Support – Contribute to product line profitability analysis and provide financial support for product strategy initiatives, investment decisions, and long‑term growth opportunities.
