You’ll primarily support elementary-aged students, with minimal itinerant assignments in some middle and high school environments—serving 1-2 students per location. The role runs throughout the academic year, ensuring you’re part of the learning journey every step of the way.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• National Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter
• EIP score of 3.5 or higher
• Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings (preferred)
• Ability to complete time-sensitive credentialing requirements (fingerprinting, drug screening)
• Willingness to work across multiple school sites

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide sign language interpretation to facilitate communication between students and staff
• Adapt interpreting style to meet individual student needs
