Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as an itinerant Occupational Therapist for a contract assignment beginning in January and continuing through the end of the school year. You'll be making an impact across three elementary schools, working with a caseload of approximately 40 students while providing essential services during a maternity leave.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapist license for practice in Wisconsin
• Experience in K-12 or pediatric educational settings, particularly within school-based OT roles
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and tailor therapeutic interventions for elementary age students
• Familiarity with IEP processes, progress monitoring, and collaboration with teachers and families
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Reliable transportation for multi-campus travel

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students according to their IEPs
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized goals and treatment plans
• Document interventions, maintain progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to support student development and success
• Adapt strategies and materials to meet a wide range of sensory and motor needs
• Navigate multiple school environments efficiently, balancing priorities and visits across all assigned locations
