Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting elementary and intermediate students as a full-time school-based Occupational Therapist. This assignment offers the chance to make a meaningful difference by covering a leave through November 18th. The position will have you splitting time between three school sites, managing a caseload that could reach up to 35 students.
Your primary responsibilities will involve delivering Occupational Therapy services and taking an active role in the IEP process, including evaluations and documentation. You’ll collaborate with educators and families to support each student's development and school participation in a dynamic, supportive environment.
Key Qualifications:
Demonstrated expertise working as an Occupational Therapist in school settings
Valid OT licensure and certification for Wisconsin
Experience supporting elementary and intermediate age groups
Familiarity with school-based caseloads, documentation, and IEP processes
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to adapt to multiple school sites with professionalism and flexibility
Core Responsibilities:
Provide direct OT services to students within caseload requirements
Assess student needs and participate in evaluations and IEP meetings
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop intervention plans
Maintain comprehensive records and ensure timely IEP documentation
Contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture through your expertise and support
