Role Description The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Ideal Mortgage branch in St George, UT in a full-time, hybrid capacity, with some work-from-home flexibility. This role includes managing branch performance, supervising loan officers and support staff, and ensuring compliance with lending regulations and company policies. The Branch Manager will develop and implement local business strategies, build and maintain relationships with real estate professionals and other referral partners, and drive branch growth through effective sales leadership. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring loan pipelines, resolving escalated customer issues, optimizing workflows for efficiency, and coaching team members to meet production and quality goals. The Branch Manager will also collaborate with senior leadership on forecasting, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain an excellent client experience. Qualifications Experience in mortgage lending operations, including branch management, loan origination oversight, and pipeline management. Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in coaching, performance management, and team development. Proficiency in sales and business development, including building referral networks and driving branch growth. Knowledge of mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, regulatory requirements, and compliance best practices. Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills, with the ability to handle complex client situations. Comfort with mortgage technology platforms, CRM tools, and data-driven performance reporting. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing in-branch presence with remote work responsibilities. Prior branch manager or senior loan officer experience in the mortgage industry strongly preferred. Relevant licenses as required by state and federal regulations (e.g., NMLS), or eligibility to obtain them.
