Position Overview:
Seeking a compassionate and experienced Hospice Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals receiving end-of-life services. This role involves coordinating care, supporting patients and families, and working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team across Northwest Arkansas service areas. Schedule & Work Details:

Seeking a compassionate and experienced Hospice Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals receiving end-of-life services. This role involves coordinating care, supporting patients and families, and working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team across Northwest Arkansas service areas. Schedule & Work Details:
- Location: Fort Smith, Arkansas service area
- Coverage Area: Northwest Arkansas including Sebastian, Logan, Crawford, Franklin, Scott, and Yell counties
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Weekly Hour Guarantee: 32 hours
- On-Call/Weekend Requirement: Participation in back-up on-call rotation
- Mileage Reimbursement: Yes, reimbursed between patient visits (first patient to last patient)
- Pay Rate: $51 to $53 per hour
- Provide skilled nursing care to hospice patients in home and facility settings
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders
- Monitor patient condition and adjust care plans as needed
- Educate patients and families on disease progression, symptom management, and end-of-life care
- Collaborate with physicians, social workers, chaplains, and other interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in on-call rotation to support patient needs after hours
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arkansas or compact license
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of clinical nursing experience
- Prior experience in hospice, home health, or palliative care preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel throughout assigned coverage areas
- Current BLS certification
- Previous hospice experience strongly preferred
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
