Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Jerseyville, Illinois.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 09/28/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs\n Hours: 36 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Sep 28, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift position requiring at least 1 year of MS/Tele experience and an active IL RN license.Details\n \n Acute care hospital setting on a 26-bed MS/Tele unit\n Adult and geriatric patient population\n Patient ratio of 1:4-6, average daily census of 8\n Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:00\n Every other weekend required\n Block scheduling is not available\n Uses Cerner for charting\n Requirements\n \n Active IL RN license or ability to obtain prior to start\n Current BLS certification required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred\n Minimum 1 year of MS/Tele nursing experience required\n Experience with both adult and geriatric patients required\n Prior travel nursing experience required\n Cerner charting experience preferred\n Community hospital experience preferred\n Additional Information\n \n Provide cardiac telemetry monitoring and manage cardiac drips without titration\n Care for patients with CVA, seizure disorders, renal failure, and cardiac conditions such as pacemakers and post-MI\n Perform wound care, ostomy/feeding tube management, and manage central and peripheral lines\n Respond to Rapid Response and Code team activations as needed\n Any scrub color permitted, but t-shirts, sweatshirts, and other organization logos are not allowed\n RTO must be discussed directly with the manager during the interview\n Free parking available in any unrestricted space\n Located less than 1 hour from St. Louis and about 45 minutes from Scott Air Force Base\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-756119.
