QUALIFICATIONS:

· Manufacturing and hands-on experience of at least 2-6 years required.

· Post-high school education and training in a machine background is essential.

· Setup knowledge, quality background, tools befitting a setup, and first aid training are

helpful.

· Well-organized, leadership potential, and reliable.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints & instructions for the product.

· Self-starter, motivated, can-do attitude, good time management, and believes in teamwork.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY:

· Has the ability to setup and indicate tooling and fixturing.

· Is capable of setting all machine offsets and starting points.

· Must be able to follow processing and programming to allow the completion of a quality part on a repeat job.

· Has an understanding of tooling, feeds, and speeds to perform minor troubleshooting.

· Assures that all of the gauging and paperwork are at the workstation.

· Meets expected production schedule consistently on repeat jobs.

· Monitors and controls machine, tooling, and/or programming to ensure parts meet customer requirements.

· Maintains all documentation as required.

· Must perform all other tasks assigned to them by their supervisor.

· Must ensure that the work area is left consistent with 5S standards.
