Setup Machinist

Job Description

Milwaukee based company is seeking a hands-on Setup Machinist with at least 3 years of direct experience to join their 1st or 2nd shift. The role involves setting up and calibrating CNC machines, manual lathes, and milling machines to ensure optimal production quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Set up CNC machines, manual lathes, and milling machines for production runs
Calibrate tools and equipment to meet specifications
Troubleshoot machine issues and perform adjustments as needed
Maintain accurate documentation of setups and machine parameters
Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance throughout all processes
Perform minimal preventative maintenance as required
