Position Overview Account Executive (AE), Global The AE will partner with agents and brokers to provide coverage for new and renewal business across our product lines including Property, General Liability, Foreign Voluntary Workers' Compensation and more. The role requires decisive, detail-oriented, relationship-building skills and the ability to assess risk and sell products to support the profitability and success of Travelers. Compensation Base salary range: $85,600.00 – $141,200.00. Performance-based cash incentive awards are also available. Eligibility for additional benefits is outlined below. Responsibilities Manage profitability, growth, and retention of an assigned book of business. Underwrite and negotiate customer accounts to minimize risk and maximize profitability. Build and maintain relationships with internal partners and external agents/brokers to drive sales and identify cross‑selling opportunities. Travel for client meetings as required. Use consultative marketing and sales skills to identify and capture new business opportunities. Develop and execute agency and region/group sales plans. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. Three to five years of underwriting experience in commercial lines. Knowledge of commercial lines products, regulatory environment, and local insurance markets. Strong critical‑thinking and proactive decision‑making skills aligned with the organization’s risk appetite. Excellent communication skills and ability to negotiate with agents and brokers. CPCU designation. Must‑Have Experience At least two years of experience in underwriting, claims, operations, risk assessment, actuarial, sales, product, or finance.
