General Manager Requirements & Qualifications

• High school diploma required; BA/BS degree preferred
• Minimum 3 years of upscale fast casual/QSR GM experience
• Effective spoken and written English communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to lift 30 lbs and stand for long periods
• Willingness to work variable hours based on business needs

General Manager Preferred Background & Skills

• Previous experience developing and training teams
• Strong financial and business acumen
• Experience with hiring, scheduling, and performance management
• Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record preferred

General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and motivate a diverse team to ensure operational excellence and outstanding guest service
• Oversee restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards
• Manage scheduling, labor, and inventory to achieve financial goals and control costs
• Ensure food quality, safety, and regulatory compliance at all times
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented work environment
• Execute company marketing and community outreach initiatives
• Address guest concerns professionally and create solutions to continually improve service
