\n Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus, a community-focused hospital within RWJBarnabas Health, is seeking a Chairman of Anesthesiology to lead its anesthesia services in Lakewood, New Jersey. \n Practice Snapshot:
\n 3-room operating suite
\n 1 endoscopy suite (runs 2 days/week)
\n Case types include:
\n o General surgery
\n o Urology
\n o Limited orthopedics
\n o Pediatric dental
\n Low daily case volume
\n Most OR days end before 4 PM
\n No trauma, cardiac, neuro, or OB cases

\n What Youll Do:
\n Leadership:
\n Oversee anesthesia operations, staffing, and scheduling
\n Foster a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and community service
\n Serve as a liaison between anesthesia staff and hospital leadership
\n Lead recruitment and quality initiatives
\n Clinical:
\n Provide direct anesthesia care in a low-acuity setting
\n Supervise or work alongside CRNAs and physician colleagues
\n Maintain a visible, supportive presence in the OR
\n Call:
\n Light call rotation
\n No acute care surgery98%+ chance of not being called in
\n Call functions mostly as standby coverage, not in-house service

\n M.D. or D.O.; Board Certified in Anesthesiology
\n Eligible for NJ medical licensure
\n 5+ years of clinical experience (leadership preferred)
