Business Intelligence Analyst

Business Intelligence AnalystThe Business Intelligence Analyst supports UDA reporting and analytics functions by understanding the content, format, data definitions and appropriate usage of institutional data and applying that knowledge to meet the information needs of university leadership, administrators, and the NC State community. The Business Intelligence Analyst identifies, collects, analyzes and reports student, employee, and other data, and builds, documents and maintains dashboards and other self-service institutional data tools in support of external reporting requirements and internal planning, analysis, and decision-making. The Business Intelligence Analyst provides analysis and interpretation of the data; promotes accuracy, integrity and consistency of data and data products; and effectively reports and communicates information to a variety of constituents. The ideal candidate will have experience in the phases of enterprise data life-cycles in higher education, including data acquisition, cleaning and processing, documentation, data validation and analysis, visualization and user support.Specific duties of the position include but are not limited to:Content Development and DocumentationAnalytics Enablement and SupportOther duties as assigned.QualificationsMinimum Education and Experience - Master's degree; or Bachelor's degree with zero – two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and relevant experience. For management?level roles, also include with the above requirements 1?2 years of supervisory experience.Other Required QualificationsRequired License(s) or Certification(s) - N/A
