Develop a thorough understanding of Company’s technical capabilities.Discuss technical issues with Program or Project Managers, Lab Supervisors and lab technicians. Provide technical oversight and coordination of project engineering work. Submits Laboratory Work Instructions to Lab Managers or Supervisors.Monitors progress against project schedules and budgets. Responsible for preparation of technical reports as well as other project specific documentation as required.To assist in the training of less experience employees; be a mentor.To carry out the above responsibilities, and all others which may be assigned, in a manner demonstrating support for and adherence to the Company’s Safety Policy and Procedures, Quality Policy and Procedures, Ethics Policy, Environmental Management System, Vision and strategy, and to exercise good judgment, commons sense, and diplomacy in so doing.QualificationsPh.D. or MS in Chemical or Petroleum Engineering, Chemistry, or other relevant scientific degrees. Ph.D. and 2+ years industry experience is preferred.Must have a grasp of industry accepted experimental protocols and ability to process and QC experimental data. Specific knowledge of applied testing for the evaluation of corrosion, screening of inhibitors, measuring rate of corrosion, pitting, weight loss.Previous experience with HPHT cell apparatus, flow loop and rheological instruments a plus.Expected to be able to use Excel and Word to record, process lab data and generate technical reports.The Project Manager should have a positive attitude and be able to multitask on several projects simultaneously.Intertek: Total Quality.
