Position Summary:

The Assistant Trailer Logistics Manager is helps coordinate trailer scheduling, track fleet inventory and support daily dispatch operations.

Compensation: $80,000

Your Role:

• Assist with the tracking, utilization, and placement of collection trailers.
• Ensure trailers are maintained, complaints are addressed, and ready for operational needs.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within logistics and operations.
• Help with creating efficient routes and schedules for trailer transport.
• Enforce DOT, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
• Monitor driver performance.
• Collaborate with safety on training and incident reporting.
• Analyze route performance, fuel usage, and maintenance costs.
• Maintain reasonable, regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family and Medical Leave Act, and other federal, state, and local standards.
• Adapts to changing duties, as required, based on business needs.

Your Skills:

• Experience in logistics, fleet management, or transportation operations.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• The environment is fast-paced, and the person in this role must be proactive, hardworking, highly organized, and an independent critical thinker.
• Proficiency with tracking systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
• Gritty, outgoing, and eager to learn.
