MedStar Health - Gastroenterology is seeking qualified Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner to join our regional service line. We have a need at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. This is an excellent opportunity for Gastroenterology Advanced Practice Providers with clinical and personal skills to join a dynamic Gastroenterology department.

Minimal Qualifications
Education

Master's degree Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program approved by the Maryland State and/or DC Board Examiners of Nurses. required

Experience

1-2 years Experience as a nurse practitioner. May require additional experience in specialty assigned. required

Licenses and Certifications

NP - Nurse Practitioner - Licensed Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program approved by the Maryland State and/or DC Board Examiners of Nurses. May require specialty license based on location. required and
CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) for healthcare providers from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 90 Days required and
Additional unit/specialty certifications may vary by department or business unit.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Verbal and written communication skills. Must have good problem-solving and independent judgment skills. Basic computer skills preferred.

USD $20.00 - USD $20.00 /Yr.
