$55- $68/hr. W2

M-F, normal hours (no preference for east coast or local candidates)

Candidate must take Glider assessment "Senior Application Developer (Mainframe)" 12 Questions

Must have mainframe experience.

EDUCATION

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Closely Related Field

Preferred- Master's Degree in in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Related Field

Required

3 years of Proficiency in design and analysis of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns in the building and deploying of scalable; highly available systems

3 years of Experience in COBOL mainframe programming

Gitlab experience

Must be able to program in COBOL

Must have experience with code documentation and processing

Preferences :

Agile/Scrum Methodology, Team player, Self-starter

SKILLS

Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment

Interest and ability to learn other programming languages as needed

Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, unit testing, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

Demonstrated passion for user experience and improving usability
