NOW HIRING!! A-Line is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will work under the direction of licensed healthcare providers while delivering direct patient care, administering medications, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting the overall health and well-being of patients.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Location: Marysville, OH
Pay: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule

• Full-time
• 6:15 AM – 7:30 PM shifts
• Work 3 days per week, with 4 days off
• Must be available to work any day of the week, including Saturdays and Sundays
• One weekend day is required each week
• Schedule and shift times may change based on facility needs, so flexibility is essential

Key Responsibilities

• Administer nursing care within the LPN scope of practice and applicable state regulations.
• Administer medications, including oral, topical, rectal, intramuscular, and subcutaneous medications as prescribed.
• Perform treatments such as oxygen administration, sterile dressing changes, catheter insertion, wound irrigation and suctioning, gastrostomy tube reinsertion, enemas, and specimen collection.
• Operate hemodialysis equipment and monitor patients during dialysis procedures when assigned.
• Assist physicians and other healthcare providers during examinations, treatments, and laboratory procedures.
• Respond appropriately to medical emergencies by providing first aid, CPR, and patient restraint when necessary and authorized.
• Monitor patient conditions and accurately document treatment responses, medication reactions, behaviors, and progress.
• Maintain patient charts, medication records, incident reports, treatment plans, and other required documentation.
• Manage medication accountability by preparing, counting, stocking, and securing medications and medical supplies.
• Take vital signs and provide direct patient care, including assistance with hygiene, bathing, grooming, repositioning, and activities of daily living.
• Administer topical treatments, eye drops, ear drops, and nasal medications as prescribed.
• Respond promptly to patient alarms and assist with medical appointments and recreational activities.
• Provide one-on-one or group patient activities according to individualized treatment plans.
• Assist in orienting and providing work direction to support staff delivering basic patient care.
• Participate in staff meetings, interdisciplinary team meetings, training sessions, and other assigned programs.
• Order medications and medical supplies as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of nursing stations, medication rooms, carts, and refrigerators.
• Perform clerical duties such as answering phones and filing documentation.

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Ohio.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and facility needs.
