Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, carrying out physical exams and meticulous reviews of medical histories
• Assist in the diagnosis and assessment of surgical issues by interpreting imaging studies and lab results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to design and implement personalized surgical treatment plans
• Offer essential support intraoperatively, which includes preparing surgical areas, ensuring patient safety during procedures, and managing instruments effectively
• Deliver superior pre- and post-operative care, overseeing medication protocols, wound management, discharge strategies, and education for patients

Education

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical surgeries rotations is highly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification necessary
• BLS and ACLS certifications must be current
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
