Assembly Team Lead

Currently seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Assembly Team Lead to oversee daily assembly operations, manage shipping logistics, and assist with essential administrative duties. This role blends hands-on leadership on the shop floor with computer-based tasks, ensuring high production standards and seamless communication.

salary: $20 - $21 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Assembly Leadership: Direct, support, and mentor assembly line personnel to ensure daily production targets and quality control standards are met.

• Shipping & Receiving: Coordinate outgoing shipments, review packing slips, generate shipping labels, and ensure timely dispatch of completed goods.

• Computer & Administrative Support: Manage daily email correspondence with internal departments, log production metrics, and update inventory tracking software.

• Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in assembly or shipping workflows and implement practical solutions to maintain high efficiency.

• Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe, organized working environment by enforcing company safety guidelines and proper equipment usage.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 1–3 years of team lead or supervisory experience in manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse operations.

• Technical Skills: proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and shipping/inventory management software.

• Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills for managing emails, team instructions, and administrative reporting.

• Organization: Ability to balance physical assembly supervision with desk-based clerical tasks effectively throughout the shift.

• Reliability: Punctual and reliable for standard 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule.
