Job Duties:
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive safety policies and procedures aligned with OSHA, EPA, and Occupational Health standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards in the workplace.
- Lead engaging safety training sessions focused on OSHA compliance, EHS best practices, CPR, First Aid, and Workers' Compensation law.
- Investigate workplace incidents through root cause analysis to determine underlying issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain detailed report writing on safety incidents, inspections, and training activities for formal management review.
Requirements Include:
- Proven experience working in manufacturing or industrial settings with a strong understanding of OSHA, EPA regulations, and Workers' Compensation law.
- Active certifications in First Aid, CPR, OSHA Safety Training, and EHS are highly preferred.
- Strong report writing skills coupled with the ability to perform risk assessments and analyze the root causes of incidents effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for conducting training sessions, safety briefings, and employee development programs.
- Ability to work stationary for long periods of time, perform repetitive tasks, and maintain a proactive approach to fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
