This is a travel Registered Nurse position in a home health setting , supporting patient care across Simpson County and Warren County . • Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 - $2,230
• Start Date: September 14, 2026
• End Date: December 13, 2026
• Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs

Job Requirements

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice
• Minimum of 1 year of home health nursing experience
• Associate degree in Nursing required
• Current CPR certification, or ability to complete within 90 days of hire
• Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation
• Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a variety of home care settings
• Professional certification required

Responsibilities

• Initiate, develop, implement, and revise individualized plans of care in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with the plan of care, infection control standards, and payer requirements
• Complete comprehensive OASIS assessments , medication reconciliation, and timely clinical documentation
• Conduct initial and comprehensive nursing visits to assess eligibility, medical necessity, and the primary focus of care
• Supervise home health aides and licensed practical/vocational nurses, including instruction, task assignment, and supervisory visits as required
• Communicate clearly and promptly with patients, families, physicians, and agency staff to support quality outcomes
• Participate in on-call coverage, weekend rotation, survey readiness, and performance improvement activities
• Assist with orientation and precepting of new staff and students when needed
• Support efforts to improve patient safety, reduce unnecessary hospitalizations, and promote positive patient outcomes
