Job Description

Weld structural frames and attach sheet metal components to fabricated assemblies.

Perform MIG and TIG welding in accordance with engineering drawings and work instructions.

Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols.

Set up and operate welding equipment and related fabrication tools.

Grind, deburr, and finish welded components to meet quality standards.

Support manufacturing operations through assembly, kitting, and general production activities as needed.

Perform visual inspections of completed welds and identify defects or quality concerns.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Follow all company quality, safety, and manufacturing procedures.

Skills and Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.

Experience with MIG welding.

Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing drawings.

Familiarity with fabrication tools, grinders, and finishing equipment.

Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and perform physically demanding tasks.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

TIG welding experience.

Previous manufacturing, marine, industrial, or defense industry experience.

Experience with spray transfer MIG welding.

Experience working to military or quality-controlled welding specifications.

Assembly, kitting, fabrication, or metal finishing experience. Written welding assessment

Hands-on welding test

Weld samples submitted for laboratory evaluation

Approximately 90-day qualification process
