Fabricator / WelderWe are seeking an experienced Fabricator / Welder that would be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal by applying appropriate welding techniques to support the production of high quality, small batch products with a well-respected long-standing precision manufacturer in Kansas City.What's in it for you as a Fabricator / Welder:Exceptional work environment in a temperature friendly plantGreat shift: 4-10 hours shift Monday-Thursday so you'd have a 3-day weekendFriendly, resourceful, competent production supervisors that provide a low-stress environment to bring out the best in youStable, secure company that can provide you with career longevityResponsibility Summary – Fabricator / Welder:Use manual and CNC controlled saws, lathes, drill press, and grinder to fabricate metal to specificationsArc, TIG, and MIG weldingRead and interpret blueprints and other shop documentationLeads or supports prototype fabrication and process development for new or custom productsFollow safety and quality standards.Qualification Summary – Fabricator / Welder:Education: High School Diploma or equivalent3-5 years of related welding and fabrication experienceProficient in blueprint reading and interpretationAdvanced knowledge of welding techniques and metalworking practices, including proficiency with multiple welding processesFamiliarity with ERP systems, lean manufacturing, 5S and continues improvement principlesMust have good math skillsAble to safely lift up to 50lbs
