Overview

Stryten Energy operates a growing battery manufacturing factory. The TPS Fabricator works closely with Team Leaders, Supervisors and Maintenance Technicians to assist with rapid improvements, rapid experimentation, and to provide key support to Team Leaders and Supervisors to assist with A3 problem solving

This is a 1st shift position - Monday - Friday, 6am - 2:30pm

Kansas City is home to one of Stryten Energy's key industrial battery plants where our seasoned team is building stored energy solutions that keep the world moving. Stryten Energy , is conveniently located in the Fairfax District and has a long history of making great products for our nation, including B-25 bombers during WW2 to important industrial batteries today. Responsibilities

• Design and/or fabricate items brought about through TPS/Kaizen events
• Perform a variety of welding, fabrication, machining, plumbing, and carpentry functions
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Participate in various TPS/Kaizen events
• Position requires handling scrap materials and disposable protective clothing containing lead which requires proper disposal as a hazardous waste
• Performs whatever other responsibilities and duties assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

• Requires high level welding skills
• Interpretation of blue prints and schematics
• Creative ability to fabricate from general descriptions
• Basic computer skills (MS Outlook, MS Office suite)
