Job Details Position: Lead Solutions Architect Start Date: ASAP Location: Englewood Cliffs, NJ / New York, NY / New York City Metropolitan Area Employment Type: Contract Seniority Level: Director Job Function: Finance and Information Technology Interview Process Technical Screen with hiring manager or architect Behavioral interview and technical problem-solving (whiteboard/digital) The Role The Solution Architect will lead the technical architecture, focusing on modernization initiatives within Fidelity Institutional Technology. They will collaborate with vendors and business sponsors to drive digital transformation projects. Qualifications and Skills 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, analytics, design, and development across multiple platforms and languages. Proven ability to lead technical teams, create design artifacts, and implement solutions in agile environments. Experience engaging with multiple squads, driving architecture artifacts, and managing product roadmaps. Strong analytical skills to assess business strategies and develop strategic technical solutions. Excellent relationship-building skills with product owners, architects, and technical leads. Extensive knowledge of APIs, UI, infrastructure, data architecture, and security. Deep understanding of agile development and DevOps practices. Expertise in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and microservices architecture; cloud certification preferred. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across organizational levels. Passion for technology and continuous learning. Strong communication and presentation skills.
